I promised to share this book as I went along writing it. The good news: I am done. The bad news is I haven't shared anything of it. This is because writing a book between running a household with three kids (5, 3 and 9 months) and a business is hard work and a blogging platform didn't do it for me in the process, however much I love Quora.
I am very grateful to Quora and the community, because I have learnt a lot from you. Writing 599 answers to date has sharpened my writing tremendously. In a way I could argue that I wrote part of the book on Quora. Some of the materials for the book have come out of answers that I wrote on Quora or at least the process honed my thinking on my own stuff because I had to articulate it here.
I am also grateful for James Calbraith
's posts, because one of them made be decide to publish it through Amazon, which is a wondrous ride through modern technology land. It's out there, in under a week, globally available, Kindle edition in process, for all of $ 139 for formatting the Kindle edition and $ 25 for buying additional distribution.
I want to partly make good on my promise by sharing the Introduction and a few other bits and pieces over the next few days.
I will also give away five books among the people who originally followed this blog to give thanks for the encouragement I felt from that. There's 32 of you and I know who you are. The first five out of those who comment on this post I will send a free copy.
